Privacy Policy

3dit is a video editor for content creators, currently in development. This page explains what data we collect through the website 3dit.meme and through our Instagram account @3dit_i_ng, why we collect it, and how you can have it removed.

The email you leave on 3dit.meme

If you enter your email address in the "Notify me" field, we store:

• the email address you entered;
• the date and time;
• the country the request came from and the type of browser used (sent automatically by your browser).

We use this only to send you one welcome email right away and to tell you when 3dit launches. We do not sell, rent or share the list, and we do not use it for advertising.

The list is stored with Cloudflare (our hosting provider). The welcome email is sent through Zoho Mail from [email protected].

Our Instagram account

To run @3dit_i_ng we use Meta's official Instagram API, connected only to our own account. With it we:

• publish our own posts and read our own statistics (views, reach, likes);
• read the comments under our own posts, so that when you comment an agreed keyword (for example "3dit") we can reply "sent" under your comment and send you one direct message with the link you asked for. That direct message is automated, and it says so.

For this, Instagram sends us the comment: its identifier, its text, the post it belongs to, and the identifiers Instagram attaches to it. We use them once, to answer that comment. The only thing we keep is the identifier of a comment we have already answered, for up to 90 days, so that we never send you the same link twice. We do not store comment text, usernames or profiles, we do not read anyone's inbox or messages, and we never message anyone who did not comment the keyword first. To send these replies, we also store the access key for our own account.

Cookies and tracking

3dit.meme sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes connection data (such as your IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

How long we keep data

Your email stays on the list until 3dit launches and the list has served its purpose, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. The identifiers of answered Instagram comments are kept for up to 90 days.

Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete anything we hold about you at any time. Send an email to [email protected] from the address you want removed (or tell us your Instagram username), and we will delete it within 7 days and confirm by reply. If you connected to us through Instagram and remove our app from your Instagram settings, you can also use this page as the data deletion instructions: the same email address, the same promise.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to its processing. Email us and we will help.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear at this address with a new date at the top.
